The Rescue: Getting Down and Dirty

Rescuing the puppy from such an unpleasant situation wasn’t going to be an easy task. One of the officers had to go into the sewage drain, braving the muck and awful smells to save the dog. Without hesitation, the officer improvised by covering his legs with plastic bags before descending into the drain.

Despite the tough conditions, the mission was a success. The trapped puppy was retrieved, though completely covered in thick, black sludge. But the important thing was that the dog was safe and back in the care of the officers.
